Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate;
only love can do that.

Housing & Support Services
Homelessness is a sad reality for many women, children, and families in our community. The YWCA Titusville responds to this problem by offering advocacy, emergency shelter and rental assistance services.
Emergency Housing at St. James House
The YWCA St. James House is an emergency shelter for women and children who are homeless. Eligible individuals and families can stay at St. James House for up to 90 days, giving them an opportunity to find transitional or permanent housing, jobs, child care, and other support services.
The YWCA depends on the financial support from United Way of the Titusville Region as well as local churches, clubs, individuals and businesses to help homeless families . If you need more information about emergency housing or would like to help homeless families, please call 814.827.9777 for more information.
Our Rental Assistance program, funded through FEMA and HAP, helps income-eligible individuals with their first month's rent and deposits on apartments. Call 814.827.9777 for more information.
The YWCA Housing Advocacy Program (a HUD McKinney project) provides case management, outreach and life skills for homeless individuals and families. Services include assistance locating housing, identifying community resources, and advocating with service providers, landlords, and utility companies. Our Housing Advocate encourages participants to take ownership of their futures by helping them make informed decisions and positive life changes. Participation in the program is free of charge for eligible individuals.
